Loving Kit (Felines of Furyne Book 1) Page 3

“Do you really want to drink from him?” Halor asked. He knew Kit hadn’t taken sustenance from other men before meeting Halor. Kit’s fears had driven him to the brink of starvation. Then he had met Halor, and both their lives had changed forever. Unlike most felines who fed from anyone who offered, Kit had only ever taken cream from Halor.

Kit didn’t answer straight away and Halor’s heart began to race.

“It’s okay if you do,” Halor said. “Just make sure you’re careful. Not everyone is understanding of what you are.”

Kit finally turned his attention to Halor’s cock and licked at the tip, sampling the tiniest drop of the pearly fluid that he craved more than anything else. “I’ll be careful,” Kit promised. “Now, it’s been a long day, so how about I have a little midnight snack and we get some sleep?”

“Snack away,” Halor replied, stroking Kit’s furry head and spreading his legs so his lover could assume his favourite position.

He wound his fingers into Kit’s fur, loving the feel of the softness brushing against his own hardness. The contrasts thrilled him, just as the roughness of Kit’s tongue on his velvet cock excited him beyond reason.

“Yes, Kit,” he cried, conscious of their “guest” just above them. Even if he couldn’t understand a word they were saying, chances are he would recognise the sounds of sex, which didn’t need any translation, sounding much the same, whatever the species. “Please, please, Kit, right there. Lick me there. Oh, Kit, Kit, Kit.”

Squawking loudly, crying out Kit’s name, over and over, Halor thrust up into his lover’s mouth. Kit, a master of sucking cock, took him deep into his throat with an ease Halor envied.

Halor arched his back, rising from the thin mattress, searching for the tightness around his cock that Kit knew he craved, even if he couldn’t yet offer it. Maybe Kit was right about the stranger. If he were a lover of the male form, Halor would not be opposed to learning the unusual creature’s body better. He had bedded other species in the months since he had left his home world, before meeting Kit, even though he had rarely reached the same heights of pleasure as he did with his feline. Kit assured him that was because when they came together, it was a meeting of souls, not just bodies. Halor, more practical than his romantic lover, didn’t have the heart to argue with him. If Kit wanted to think of them as soulmates, who was Halor to say otherwise?

Lying here now with his cock buried in Kit’s mouth, Kit’s tongue teasing him, and his throat squeezing his length, Halor could almost believe in Kit’s romantic notions.

Halor closed his eyes as spots began to appear in his vision. His cries were no longer words, just screeches and shouts that Kit tore from him with every swipe of his tongue.

His balls drew up, ready to release. Kit would feed well tonight.

“Kit!” Halor screamed as he spilled into his lover’s mouth and down his throat. He could feel Kit swallowing as he gulped down Halor’s seed, drinking every last drop, as he always did.

Halor felt the heat of Kit’s own seed hitting his leg. Kit whimpered and mewled as he released Halor’s cock and crawled up his body. He thrust against Halor’s leg, rubbing against him, marking him, claiming him, as if there had ever been a question that Halor belonged to him, just as Kit belonged to Halor.

Kit ground against him over and over, keeping up the continual motion as he spilled his seed between them.

They would be sticky in the morning, but Halor made no effort to stop Kit or to suggest they go clean themselves in the cramped hydro-shower. He knew this was something Kit needed to do, to reassure Halor of his devotion.

Kit used his hands to spread his seed over Halor’s abdomen and chest, taking extra care to ensure Halor’s heart was covered. Whoever had said felines were clean and hygienic had clearly never bedded one like his Kit. Sex with Kit did tend to get rather messy, especially when one or the other of them appeared unsure of the other’s affections.

Halor pulled Kit into a heated kiss. He wrapped his arms and legs around Kit’s body, trapping him within his embrace and using his winged upper arms to keep Kit shielded.

He met Kit’s thrusts with eagerness.

“Halor?” Kit said when they broke their kiss.

“Do it,” Halor replied, not needing to hear the question to give his agreement.

Kit, even though he had spilled some of his seed, was still hard enough to penetrate him, and Halor wriggled around until they were in position.

Halor screamed when Kit entered him. His lover wasn’t huge, but he was long, and Halor could feel every inch of him deep at his core.

“Mark me,” Halor said. “Claim me.”

Kit had smothered the outside of Halor’s body with his seed, now he would coat his insides, too.

It didn’t take much. Kit had already been on the edge of his climax for far too long. The heat of his release filled Halor, who moaned with contentment.

As Kit collapsed on his chest, Halor felt well and truly claimed. He belonged to Kit, and the stranger upstairs wouldn’t change that fact.

Kit pulled out of him and burrowed against him, purring with sated pleasure. There was no sound Halor loved more.

As Kit slept, Halor mulled over what they had talked about and their unexpected guest. Kit wanted him—that much was certain—and truthfully, Halor did feel some attraction to the odd male on the higher deck. Could they trust him, though? Halor didn’t even know what species he was. For all they knew, it could be a deceitful race who might murder them in their beds.

Except Kit was an excellent judge of character and he had never steered Halor wrong before.

They would spend the time on their journey getting to know the creature, at least as much as they were able to when they couldn’t understand each other.

Hopefully, by the time they arrived at the spaceport, they would have a better idea of what they should do.

Of course, getting to know their unexpected visitor was one thing. Inviting him into their bed was another matter entirely.

Halor knew that Kit would never make the first move if he didn’t have Halor’s blessing. While Halor might say they were equals in the nest, Kit still thought of it as Halor’s, and as such, it fell to him to decide whether to expand it. The choice of whether to invite the stranger to join them was his and his alone. They weren’t far from port now. They could stick to the plan, drop off their guest, and leave him to fend for himself. Halor sighed as he thought of how Kit would react to that. His feline would be disappointed and would worry himself into a frenzy, wondering where the creature was and whether he was being well-treated.

A universal translator wouldn’t cost much, just a drop in the ocean to Halor. What harm could there be in at least trying to communicate with the creature?

Making Kit happy was Halor’s main goal in life, and if keeping the strange male on board pleased Kit, then so be it.

  * * * *

Kit approached the barrier with the tray of food balanced on one hand. Halor was right behind him, though he hadn’t drawn his laser.

Halor’s suggestion that Kit try to get to know the strange creature had surprised and delighted him.

“Are you sure about this?” Halor asked as he sat down in his chair at the control panel.

“Yes,” Kit replied as he lowered the barrier and stepped into the room. “I want him to know he can trust us, and I want to give him the chance to prove we can trust him.”

“Okay, but be careful. I’ve got my laser right here, and if I see him make one false move, I’ll use it.”

Kit set the tray on the crate and faced Logan. The male stared back at him silently.

  “Hello,” Kit said.

Logan frowned and offered him something that might pass for a smile.

Kit sat gracefully on the floor and pulled out a handheld holo-projector. He loaded it up with a simple program designed for teaching youngsters how to use its functions. He placed the holo-projector on the floor beside them. The hologram that rose above the device
showed the basic menu.

“This is a holo-projector,” Kit explained.

“He can’t understand you,” Halor reminded him.

“I know, but something might be getting through to him.” Kit hit the button for the navigation mode and pointed at the little blinking dot in the middle of the hologram. “This is where we are.”

Logan leaned forward, squinting at the image.

Kit pointed at a small green planet then at himself. “My world. Furyne.”

Logan shook his head and made a sound that could only be described as gibberish. It sounded like Kit’s language, but it wasn’t a proper word.

Halor snickered from his seat. “Yeah, he’s a bright one.”

Kit shot his lover a dirty look and returned to his task. He pointed out various spaceports and planets and tried to show him the border of the forbidden territory Logan’s ship had entered. He wasn’t sure that the male understood much or anything of what he was saying. He pointed at Logan then at the menu items to the side of the star map. “You try.”

Logan frowned but made no move to try to work the holo-projector.

“Maybe it’s too difficult for his species,” Halor suggested.

“I’m not giving up yet,” Kit replied. He hit a button on the menu to return to the main screen. Then he pointed at Logan and the menu again. “Your go.”

Logan finally seemed to get the idea and he generated the star map, just as Kit had done. He pulled up the same map and, following Kit’s example, turned it around to see the various parts of the system. As he got the hang of it, his movements became a little overzealous and the map changed to the neighbouring system. Logan peered at it for a moment then did the same again, moving onto the next, then another. He scrolled through system after system, but barely glanced at most of them. Every now and then he stopped on one or another, took a closer look, then moved on again.

“I think he’s looking for something in particular,” Kit said. “Maybe his home.”

Halor, leaning forward in his seat to get a good look at what they were doing, nodded thoughtfully. “If he is, then he’s from farther away than any of the avian people have been.”

“Or the feline,” Kit added. “He’s a very long way from home.”

  “Kit…”

“I know, I know,” Kit mumbled. “Don’t get attached to him. I understand.”

Halor sighed. “I suspect my warning is already too late.”

Kit privately agreed. Bored with the star maps, Kit slowly and gently touched Logan’s hand. The stranger flinched a little but quickly covered up his reaction. Kit lowered his eyes, annoyed with himself for being so disappointed. He wanted him to welcome his touch, not be afraid. He could smell Logan’s arousal, but Kit had no intention of acting on it without Halor’s consent.

He turned off the star maps and brought up another menu, this one allowing access to the music of his people. He picked a popular song and set it to play.

“Kit!” Halor complained as he put his hands over his ears. “Do you want to deafen the creature? And me?”

Kit smiled. “This was the most popular song of last season.”

  “It’s awful.”

“Better than any of the screeching your people have come out with,” Kit retorted.

Logan, apparently a quicker study than Kit had realised, shut down the song and picked another, instead. This one was slower and more mournful. It was also slightly easier on the ears of the listener. Kit wondered if Logan knew it was a love song, often played by his people when they wanted to pay court to another. Kit shook his head at his foolish thoughts. Of course Logan had no idea what he had chosen to play.

“He has better taste than you,” Halor commented, prompting Kit to shoot him another dirty look.

Logan made a noise that wasn’t quite a purr, but certainly didn’t seem to be the male’s native tongue. It was more like a humming, made in time to the music.

When the song came to an end, Logan tried another, before quickly switching it again. This continued for a little while and Kit soon realised that Logan preferred the slower, quieter songs to the louder, fast-paced pieces.

Kit showed Logan how to keep the music playing while continuing to use the holo-projector then guided him through to the youngsters’ games section.

“Hardly a fair contest,” Halor pointed out as Kit showed Logan how to play the simple board game. “You must have played that one thousands of times when you were growing up, just as I did.”

“It’s an easy game to learn without the need of words,” Kit pointed out. “If he shows he can understand this one, we’ll move onto something more difficult.”

“Which you’ll also be rather familiar with,” Halor teased. “The poor creature is at something of a disadvantage.”

“Stop calling him a creature,” Kit said.

“What else can we call him?” Halor asked. “We have no idea what his species is called. They might not even have a name.”

“I’m sure they do,” Kit replied. “He’s too smart to be one of those species who never even formed a proper language.”

“If you say so,” Halor said. “But we still don’t know what it is or what to call him.”

“We call him Logan,” Kit told him with a firm nod, before turning back to his game. The name was becoming easier for him to say now that he had practised it a little.

With lots of hand gestures and a few false starts, Logan seemed to figure out the game. Kit won the first two games but Logan beat him in the third. When Logan won the fourth and fifth games, Kit decided it was time to try a new one.

Kit considered that they were making good progress when his stomach began to rumble. The sound was loud enough that Logan handed over the plate of fruits that he had been nibbling on during the course of the day. Kit shook his head, knowing his stomach couldn’t handle the sweet substances.

Logan frowned at him as Kit’s stomach gave another loud noise.

“You need to eat,” Halor said. “I can hear your stomach growling from over here.”

Kit nodded and gently pushed Logan’s tray back towards him. His paw brushed Logan’s and this time he didn’t flinch in response. Kit smiled at the progress they had made. Perhaps he had merely startled him before. He certainly wasn’t pulling away from him in fear now.

Kit pointed at the game then glared at Logan. “No cheating!”

“He doesn’t understand you,” Halor reminded him.

“I know,” Kit said as he approached Halor and searched under the central control panel for the cushion he kept for his knees.

“You’d better raise the barrier,” Halor reminded Kit before he took his position.

Kit hesitated. “I think we can trust him not to attack us.”

“Maybe we can, but it would be foolish to take such a risk.”

Kit sighed but did as Halor had told him. Logan watched and Kit gave him an apologetic smile. “Sorry.”

“He can’t understand you,” Halor told him for the umpteenth time.

Kit ignored his reminder and settled himself between Halor’s legs, rubbing his fur against the thick thighs. Kit could see Logan watching them and he felt his face heat under the curious gaze. He didn’t know why he was suddenly embarrassed about feeding in front of a stranger.

On Halor’s home planet, banquets were known to last for hours and Kit hadn’t been bothered about the audience then. It wasn’t as if the other felines on Halor’s planet restrained themselves. There weren’t many there, but the few that lived on Hawkri were little more than kept whores and had no qualms about feeding at the dinner table. Halor, who hadn’t known about feline diets until meeting Kit, had been kept well away from such banquets while he was growing up.

Seeing the way Logan gaped at them now, Kit had a feeling he might have led a similarly sheltered life.

“What’s the matter?” Halor asked. “I know you’re hungry, so what’s the problem?”

Kit shook off his embarrassment and pushed aside
the material of Halor’s kilt. He heard Logan make a strangled kind of sound as Kit took Halor’s cock into his mouth and sucked hard.

Halor moaned softly. “He’s watching us,” he said.

Kit couldn’t reply with his mouth full, but he had no intention of stopping now.

Halor moaned again and the sound was echoed by their guest on the other side of the barrier. Even through the shields, Kit’s heightened senses worked well enough that he could practically taste Logan’s rising arousal.

The first spurt of cream hit his taste buds and Kit’s cock hardened. He sucked harder, coaxing more from his lover and easing the hunger pangs.

Halor stroked his fur then rested his hands on Kit’s shoulders, keeping him in place as he started to gently thrust into Kit’s mouth.

Logan was panting, his desire loud and clear. The sound made Kit even more desperate and he groped blindly under his kilt, taking himself in hand with a groan of pleasure.

“He’s hard,” Halor said. “His clothing cannot hide his desire.”

Kit hummed around Halor’s cock, his delight in hearing his lover’s words driving him to new heights of frenzy.

Halor continued to feed him as Kit stroked himself with firm, quick, movements of his hand.

“He’s trying not to watch,” Halor reported. “He’s taking action to stem his desire, putting pressure at the base of his rod.”

Kit whined in disappointment. Why would he do that? It wasn’t healthy for a male to deny himself. If he felt the need to come, surely it was better to do so.

“He can’t take his eyes off us,” Halor said. “He tries to concentrate on the game and his food, but his gaze keeps returning to you. He enjoys watching you pleasure me as you feed.”

Kit licked at the underside of Halor’s cock and found the spot that stole his lover’s power of speech every time he touched it.

With a squawk high enough to shatter crystals, Halor climaxed, pouring cream down Kit’s throat. Kit drank every drop, his hunger pangs finally disappearing entirely.

Eventually, Halor had nothing more to give him and Kit pulled back slightly, licking at the softening cock, knowing the touch of his tongue was responsible for Halor’s continuing shivers.
